There are a TON of typos in the 6th edition. The authors attempted to include step by step instructions for a newer sample database than the one used in previous versions, but they did not update all of the text to remove the references to the previous sample. If you're looking to use this as a step by step guide, avoid the 6th edition, you will not have the information you need to build a sample database to test what you've learned.
Not a bad book, but I've just started and... they completely forgot multiple appendix pages. Go to previous versions, at least those contain the data required to finish the book.
This book has too many typos. You have to pay attention, so that you are not confused while you read the examples.I also found that they are missing answers for the quizzes that are given at the end if each cheaper.If you are truly a beginner, I would suggest finding another book.

Very unclear on how to build the tables to do the examples.
It's been a while since I was needed SQL. I have a need now. I believe the book is well written, but I can't seem to find the support material, or what database I should be using to follow the book. Maybe I have just over looked it. Will keep it, but will look for another book to refresh my memory.
